December 1st is right around the corner and with that comes the most wonderful time of the year— the holidays are here, friends!

1. Neutrals & Pops of Jewel Tones
We always like to start with a neutral palette when it comes to seasonal decorating, especially, to avoid overwhelming a room. Starting with a base ‘layer’ of white and warm, earthy tones in your space, punctuated by a few pops of brighter jewel tones brings just the right amount of sparkle and shine to create that inviting holiday feel.
We love layering neutral pieces with pops of emerald green, navy blue, burgundy or terracotta, and — of course — silver and gold, for this time of year.

2. Natural & Woodland Elements
When it comes to decorating for the holidays, incorporating natural textures like rattan, wicker, wood or even leather in smaller decor accessories can help create a warm and inviting atmosphere that doesn’t feel over-the-top.
If you know us, you know we’re big fans of bringing outdoor elements inside. Whether real or faux, seasonal greenery helps breathe life into a space. The addition of fir, spruce, pine or birch tree elements as well as garland pieces help tie everything together.

3. Vintage-inspired Finds
Who doesn’t love a little holiday nostalgia? A few well-positioned retro shapes, color accents and antique seasonal pieces are perfect for topping off a tree or styling a shelf.
Adding in vintage-inspired decor finds or classic ornaments and accessories passed down from family throughout the years is the perfect finishing touch that creates Christmas magic in any space.
