One of my winter projects was giving the two main living areas of the Palin house a makeover. My clients had a couple pieces in each room that they wanted to keep, but they were willing…

After tackling the living room, kitchen/dining area, and the entryway, we moved upstairs. We completed the guest bedroom, the master bedroom, a home office (that I didn’t get pics of… boo!), and a gift wrapping station. A gift wrapping station?! Yes!! And it’s just as cool as it sounds! :)
Read MoreI am so excited to show you Part I of the Green Mountain Project I have been working on the last couple of months! My client reached out to me late last fall and had just moved into her brand new townhouse. She had a few beautiful pieces she wanted to keep but basically we needed to fill in all the gaps and turn her house into a home. Aside from her being so much fun to work with (seriously… how do I get all the BEST clients?!), it was such a fun job to work through her entire house and make it feel beautiful, comfortable, and complete. I joke with her that I may just move in because I don’t think I’ll ever have a home that is actually complete from top to bottom like hers is now! Ha!

I typically don’t take on these types of jobs because I’ve been able to keep busy enough with complete room designs (and those are my fave - I’ll be honest). This was one of my favorite kind of projects… ya know… the kind where I get to pick out everything! The Georgelos fam moved into this house a few years ago, renovated the heck out of it, and now they’re ready for their furnishings to match their beautiful renovations. The living room topped the to-do list, so we tackled it first. They had some really nice pieces from their last house, but as the story always goes… they just didn’t work well in this house.

I was so pumped when my previous clients reached out to put them on the calendar to complete their baby's nursery. A couple months later they found out they were having a girl, and that kicked the whole project up another notch. So. Much. Cute. Girl. Stuff. This couple had *the* perfect room for a nursery, too - a tiny room in an old house with SO much character - the chunky woodwork, a slanted ceiling, quirky angles... it was awesome!
