With spring right around the corner, our team pulled together a list of our seasonal favorites for you this week. Take a peek through this post to see what design accessories we’re excited about this year, as we freshen up our interiors and welcome the spring season into our homes.

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOVING AT BASIL + TATE THIS Season…

  1. Fresh Florals

First off, we are loving fresh florals. (And, honestly, who doesn’t this time of year?!) We recommend arranging florals in a glass vase to keep them looking light and airy. Our team likes using both stems and blooms — artificial or fresh from your own backyard. If your yard has lots of trees, watch for those that are ready to bloom and you’ll be set for the season.

2. Spring Scenes

A new season is the perfect time to switch out artwork to refresh your wall space. We love incorporating spring scenes or coastal artwork for a similar, light and airy vibe. We love this particular one (pictured below) from McGee & Co.

3. Seasonal Pillow Swap

After swapping out wall art, why not swap out your pillows, too? Rotating throw pillows each season to bring in lighter, neutral colors or playful patterns for spring is an easy update to welcome in the season. We love the mix of patterns and hues in this example (below) from Danielle Oakey Shop, which features both neutral floral print and vertical stripe accent throw pillows.

4. Natural Woven Materials

Adding natural woven materials like jute and rattan help incorporate textures and tones inspired by nature that can work year-round, but are perfect for the spring season. Switching out rugs, vases, glasses and other accessories with natural woven materials creates an earthy aesthetic that suits any home this time of year.
