A Custom Corner Office

The standout feature of this Denver area home’s office space remodel? Without a doubt, the custom built-in cabinetry. To maintain a cohesive look, our carpenter selected materials and stained the finished built-in cabinetry to match the office desk our team selected.
This subtle, elegant design choice ensures the entire space feels unified. The cabinets not only provide ample storage for files, office supplies and books, but they also act as a visual anchor, grounding the room and giving it that custom design feeling. It looks custom, because it is!
EARTHY TONES & ORGANIC TEXTURES
From the start of this project, we wanted the office space to feel warm, grounded and connected to nature. Earthy textures play a big role in achieving that ambiance. We incorporated a cozy rug with subtle organic patterns, creamy side chairs that offer a comfortable place for reading or in-person meetings, and lush faux greenery that adds life to the space. These organic elements soften the look, giving the office an inviting feel.
olive green, gold & leather accents
Color was an important part of the design, we wanted to add just enough for personality, but still soft enough to promote focus and relaxation. We brought in touches of olive green through pillows and the office chair, creating a gentle pop that feels fresh and modern. It’s just the right amount of color to balance out the neutral base and keep the space feeling dynamic.
Our design team also couldn’t resist adding a touch of luxury with gold and leather details. From the handles on the custom cabinets to the styling pieces, these accents elevate the space and offer a subtle contrast to the earthy tones. The warm metallic finishes and leather textures give the office a sophisticated edge, without overwhelming the room’s calming vibe.
achieving the perfect backdrop
Every modern home office needs that picture-perfect Zoom background, and the Bradbury Project delivers that and more. Behind the desk, we chose a soft abstract painting that brings in calming shades without drawing too much attention. Matte black art lighting above the painting adds a contemporary touch and highlights the artwork perfectly. It’s an ideal backdrop for virtual meetings— clean, elegant and sophisticated. We love it!
the finishing touches
To complete this custom home office remodel and pull all the elements together, our design team added a final layer of personality and comfort with carefully selected accessories. Rich curtains frame the room, filtering the natural light in a way that creates a soothing atmosphere. A thoughtfully placed plant in the corner, a few stacked books, and small decor pieces on the desk complete the look. Every element has a purpose, making this office not only beautiful but entirely functional for our clients.
